Common Types of Scams
Phishing scams (Impersonation)
- Fake wallet websites (e.g., MetaMask, Trust Wallet)
- Fake emails or messages pretending to be from exchanges or blockchain projects
- Impersonating support/admins on Telegram, Zalo, Discord, etc.

Technical Support Scams
- Pretending to be “technical support” asking to access your wallet, computer, or request your 12-word recovery phrase
- Promising to “help withdraw stuck funds” or “recover locked accounts”
⛔ Never share your recovery phrase (seed phrase/private key) with anyone.
How to Protect Your Assets
Secure your personal wallet
- Do not store your seed phrase on your phone or computer
- Write down your recovery phrase on paper and keep it in a safe place
- Use a hardware wallet if you store large amounts of crypto assets
Self-Check – Self-Verification
- Verify the correct URL (look for HTTPS and the exact domain)
- Access information only from official sources (Website, Twitter, CoinMarketCap, etc.)
Stay Informed
- Follow trusted community channels
- Learn how to check smart contracts and identify fake tokens
- Do not click on suspicious links or connect your wallet to unknown websites
What to Do If You Suspect a Scam
If you suspect any fraudulent activity:
- Stop all transactions immediately
- Disconnect your wallet from any suspicious DApps
- Create a new wallet if you believe your private key has been compromised
- Report the incident to the community to help prevent others from falling victim
